Global Eco Journey offers people a wonderful way
to experience other cultures while promoting earth-honoring awareness. We believe authentic learning occurs when you put your philosophy into action. Our unique framework assists people in moving towards sustainable development, environmental protection, and a culture of peace.
Earth-honoring consciousness flows through in all aspects of our journey. You will have the opportunity to enhance your personal growth, discover, and renew as we all grow together and awaken our stewardship of the environment and social balance. Our motto, "Nurturing and conserving the natural way" is a simple way of stating our dedication to being warriors for action to protect and preserve our majestic world.
As teachers and guides, our native friends will help each of us see that we have something special to contribute. In both the role of teacher and student, we each have the potential to make positive changes in our local and global communities.
Local culture throughout our trip will not just be observed but will be felt as we visit various native villages. The local people maintain very strong family bonds and values. We believe our native teachers, as well as our family and friends are the most valuable gifts we can share with you during your journey. Learn their traditions and folklore as you share a smile or embrace with them. Our grassroots approach was to develop a program that values and utilizes native local teachers and guides. We employ a family-run river boat and local suppliers. To provide you with the best possible experience, we choose to keep our groups small. In this way, our participants receive in-depth quality experiences while also ensuring that our impact on the local communities and environment is a positive one.
As teachers and lovers of our natural environment, we offer you a journey that will be rewarding, relaxing, and unforgettable. Man has been endowed with reason, with the power to create, so that he can add to what he's been given. But up to now he hasn't been a creator, only a destroyer. Forests keep disappearing, rivers dry up, wildlife's become extinct, the climate's ruined and the land grows poorer and uglier every day.
~Anton Chekhov, Uncle Vanya, 1897
